Many visitors have stopped in their tracks when approaching a plant
of this cultivar. Flowers are medium sized, round and ruffled. Base
color is a light reddish purple. A green throat fades to chartreuse
before blending into a large violet purple watermark. The edging has
three distinct bands of color. The innermost band is a deepening of the
petal color into a dark reddish purple. The middle band is violet
purple similar to the watermark, and the outermost edge is a line of
platinum. My most used parent the last two years. Named for a friend
from Georgia who offered me much encouragement and hybridizing advice
over the years.
