MEXICALI BLUES has been a major parent for me the last couple of years. I have made thousands of seeds from it, mostly with purple and violet flowers. At certain times, especially in cooler cloudy weather, the large smooth eye and matching edge can show a lot of blue. In sunny warm weather the eye color is violet lavender on beige lavender petals. The flowers are large and always voluptuously ruffled.
