REDNECK RED is hard to miss in a field of daylilies. At 52” high, it stands at nearly chin height (at least on me!) The sturdy scapes support 8” or larger orange red flowers. Form can vary a little, but the flowers always convey a sense of motion. Pinching and twisting are common.
(Rice-J 2006) 52” scapes, early midseason bloom, 8.5” flowers, 3 to 4 branches, 18 to 24 buds, dormant, fertile both ways, tet. Parentage unknown. Single fan
